The Journey

The journey of TruTraderFX began with our founder, Jamaal Milbry. Jamaal’s introduction to trading wasn’t through a conventional route. After serving as a Chemical, Biological, Radioactive, and Nuclear Engineer in the U.S. Army, Jamaal’s passion for analytical thinking and problem-solving led him into the world of finance. With a background in mathematics and economics, he quickly realized trading was the perfect space to channel his skills.

In 2014, Jamaal’s trading path took a pivotal turn when he came under the mentorship of Jason Sen—an award-winning technical analyst and former London Stock Exchange trader. It was with Jason that Jamaal learned the foundational principles of professional trading, diving deep into technical analysis and market behavior. Jason’s teachings equipped him with a skill set that went beyond just making trades; it was about understanding market psychology, leveraging low capital, and developing strategic entries that could make even small trades highly profitable.

But Jamaal saw a gap. What about traders like him, starting with little capital but big dreams?

From these early experiences, Jamaal crafted his own unique trading system—one that helps traders with limited capital maximize their returns while managing risk effectively. His approach wasn’t just about chasing profits; it was about mastering the process. In 2020, Jamaal officially launched TruTraderFX with a single goal: to empower traders like himself—individuals with the skill, drive, and passion to trade but who needed guidance to fully unlock their potential.
